Cashew Halwa Recipe | Kaju Halwa Recipe

















Ingredients:

  • 1 c. cashew nuts (raw) 
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. or more milk 
  • 1/2 c. melted unsalted butter
Method:
  • Soak cashew nuts for 3 hours and grind in the blender, adding as much of the milk as it needs (about 1/2 cup) to grind them into a ne paste. 
  • In a saucepan mix the paste with sugar and cook over medium heat. 
  • Keep stirring. Add butter gradually.
  • When the mixture reaches the consistency of a gum, remove from re. 
  • Can be served hot or cold.
