Paruppu (Dhal) Thuviyal















Ingredients :

1/2 c. toor dhal 
1/4 coconut
2-3 red chilies 

1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oil 

1/2 c. water

Method :
  • Saute toor dhal and chilies in oil until golden brown. 
  • Grind coconut, dhal, chilies and salt in a blender with 1/2 cup of water, into a ne paste. 
  • Goes well with rice.
  • May add a clove of garlic when grinding.
