Ingredients:
- 1 c. cashew nuts (raw)
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. or more milk
- 1/2 c. melted unsalted butter
- Soak cashew nuts for 3 hours and grind in the blender, adding as much of the milk as it needs (about 1/2 cup) to grind them into a ne paste.
- In a saucepan mix the paste with sugar and cook over medium heat.
- Keep stirring. Add butter gradually.
- When the mixture reaches the consistency of a gum, remove from re.
- Can be served hot or cold.
