Ingredients:
- 1 c. almonds
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 2 c. sugar
- Soak almonds for 3 hours, skin it and grind it into a coarse paste, adding 1/4 cup milk.
- Over medium heat, make a syrup in a saucepan by mixing 2 cups of sugar with 1/2 cup of water.
- When the syrup is of a thread consistency, add the paste.
- Keep on stirring while adding melted butter for about 15 minutes until it comes to a thicker consistency.
- Spread it on a greased pan.
- When cool, cut it into small squares.
