Fish Cutlet Recipe (Type I)

Fish Cutlet Recipe















Ingredients: 
  • 1/2 c. onion (finely chopped) 
  • 1 c. oil
  • 1/2 tsp. Red pepper powder
  • 1 c. Boiled mashed potatoes
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper powder
  • 1 can mackerel or salmon
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 2 c. bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. oil (for sauteing)
  • Salt to taste
Method to make Fish Cutlet Recipe:
  1. Remove bones and drain oil from sh. Saute onion in oil until golden brown.
  2. Add mashed potatoes, sh pieces, lemon juice, salt, red and black pepper and cook for 3 minutes. 
  3. Mix it well and make it into small balls about the size of a lime. 
  4. Dip the balls in egg whites, coat them with bread crumbs and deep fry in oil until golden brown. 
  5. Makes into 30-35 cutlets.
