Navratan Korma Recipe


Ingredient Recipe:
  • Paneer (or cottage cheese)  - 100 grams
  • Mixed boiled vegetables -   2 teacups
  • (carrots, french beans, green peas, potatoes)
  • Tomatoes - 3
  • Onions - 2
  • Ginger and garlic paste - 1t
  • Chili powder - 11/2 t..
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2t
  • Coriander powder - 2t
  • Garam Masala - 1t
  • Milk - 1 Tea cup
  • Fresh cream -3t
  • Ghee -3t
  • Salt - to taste
  • Ghee for deep frying
Method to make Navratan Korma Recipe:
  1. Grate the onions
  2. Put the tomatoes in hot water. After 10 minutes take off the skin and chop.
  3. Cut the paneer into small pieces and deep fry in ghee.
  4. Heat oil in a vessel and fry the onions for a few minutes.
  5. Add the ginger and garlic paste, and fry for 1/2 minute.
  6. Add the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder and chili powder, Garam Masala and salt.
  7. Fry for at least 3-4 minutes.
  8. Add the boiled vegetables, milk, cream and fried paneer pieces.
  9. Cook for a few minutes.
  10. Serve hot decorated with silver foil.
